About HISAGEN
Building bridges between climate action and agricultural development in Africa.
Born from Experience
HISAGEN was founded by a team with deep roots in both Ugandan agriculture and global climate markets. We've seen firsthand how smallholder farmers bear the brunt of climate change while having the potential to be part of the solution.
Our name reflects our mission: High Impact Soil Application for a Greener Environment.
This team was brought together by Cedric Babu, a Ugandan-Irish entrepreneur and former Davis Cup captain whose vision united us around the opportunity to bring transformative agricultural technology to Africa. His spirit continues to guide our work.

Our Mission
To transform smallholder agriculture in Africa through regenerative technology that delivers immediate productivity gains for farmers while building long-term environmental and economic resilience.
